The One Thing Every Great Story Needs
Probably, I know I have.
Let’s be honest… There are many terrible stories out there, largely due to the advent of self-published books.
But what makes a story great?
Yes, all of those things. However, the most important element is an author who has the freedom to write the story they want.
Here’s why I’m telling you this:
At the end of the day, we are all authors of our own life stories. We get to decide where that story is going to go, if it’s going to have a compelling plot, and if it’s going to end in victory or defeat.
Unfortunately, for a lot of people, their stories end up kind of flat.
Flat because they feel trapped by the narratives they’ve already built. Narratives shaped by ongoing depression, betrayal, rejection, and anxiety. Narratives that lead to engaging in unhealthy sexual behaviors when they realize their story is anything but a best-seller.
Stop Simply Surviving & Start Thriving
Join the Live Free CommunityWe don’t want people stuck in the same tired narratives. We create safe spaces where hurting people can rethink what life can look like—and we empower them to rewrite new stories that lead somewhere amazing.
With our Tell the Whole Story year-end campaign, we’re inviting you into our world.
A world where simple resources like a support group or supportive community can lead to life-altering change and transformation. The type of change that not only helps people feel better about their today, but empowers them to write a better story that leads to a much better tomorrow.
But, we can’t accomplish this if we only attack these issues from a surface-level mindset. If we’re only focused on behavior modification or performance-based recovery systems, we’ll never get to the real issue.
Watch this video and sit with it.
Because what you’re about to see isn’t just about recovery—it’s about someone finally getting the freedom to write their own story.
Over the next couple of months, we’ll be sharing more stories like this. Real stories. Messy stories. Beautiful stories of people who thought they were trapped in the same chapter forever… until they weren’t. Maybe you’re one of those people right now. Or maybe you know someone who is.
Either way, these stories are for you.
Because the more we tell the truth, the more we set people free.
